For instance, Jan Šovar who has worked for the predecessor of today’s ESMA, led the legislation team for capital markets at the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic for several years, where under his guidance key legislation was transcribed in the area of capital markets (in particular, the Act on Management Companies and Investment Funds and the reform of bonds legislation).
