Rare Success: New Payment Institution Licence for a Czech Company

Licensing at the CNB is one of FINREG PARTNERS’ key areas of expertise. We are therefore delighted to have assisted MMG Corporation s.r.o. in obtaining a payment institution licence from the Czech National Bank.

This achievement is particularly noteworthy, as since the current law on payment transactions came into force in 2019, the CNB has issued only a handful of licences for payment institutions. In fact, more than 400 days have passed since the last licence was granted to a Czech company.

Thanks to the dedicated efforts of our entire team, who provided the utmost care and attention to the client, our collaboration led to the successful completion of the licensing process.

We extend our gratitude to the Czech National Bank for its professional approach and wish MMG Corporation s.r.o. continued success in their future growth.
